Site a few km from Karu in the direction of Upshi in the middle of the various military complexes, on the roadside, on the river side (river has no name on the map). From Karu in the driection of Shakti: 2 possible routes: 1 - by taking the Wuri pass (5250 m) you can reach the Shyok; 2 - by taking the Chang pass (5300 m) you can reach Tangtse and then the Changthang (on the Olizane map itinerary indicated as LEH-RUDOK-LHASA). From Karu you can also reach the Markha via a pass.
