Region code: IND-SPI
Geographical boundaries: Spiti region is defined according to both its traditional and historical boundaries. It starts north-west at the Kunzum pass until the confluence with the Pare River at Sumdo on the south-est. The north-east limits are fixed by the contemporary Himachal Pradesh state boundaries and it ends south-westwards by the Spiti district boundaries. The Pin Valley is included.
